Korinnya's 5th Annual Kubasa Competition a huge success!

Once again Korinnya's Kubasa competition was a sell out.  All those in attendance enjoyed smoked meat, culture and the fantastic aroma of garlic!!  

The competition was stiff and the votes were close!  The first round of kubasa tasting featured the Traditional Garlic category.  The competitors were as follows:

Green Plate - Gour-Mart Ltd, Ukrainian Garlic Ring

Blue Plate - Pure Country Meats, Garlic Kubasa

White Plate - Stawnichy Meat Processing, Ukrainian Homestyle

Red Plate - Widynowski's Sausage House, Garlic Sausage

Purple Plate - Rocky's Sausage Haus, Ham Kubasa

Pink Plate - Polcan Meat Products & Deli, Country Style

The WINNER of the Traditional Garlic was Polcan Meat Products & Deli with their Country style, and this year's RUNNER UP was Rocky's Sausage Haus with their Ham Kubasa.

Later in the evening the guests were treated to a Varenyky sampler with the second round of the Specialty category tasting!  The competitors were as follows: 

Green Plate - Gour-Mart Ltd, Bison and Pork Cheddar Smokie

Blue Plate - Pure Country Meats, Capicola

White Plate - Stawnichy Meat Processing, Homestyle Pepperoni

Red Plate - Widynowski's Sausage House, Ham Garlic Sausage

Pink Plate - Polcan Meat Products & Deli, Barbeque

The WINNER of the Specialty category was Pure Country Meats with their Capicola, and this year's RUNNER UP was Gour-Mart Ltd with their Bison and Pork Cheddar Smokie.
