The Korinnya Ukrainian Folk Choir has been entertaining Calgary's Ukrainian community since 1993. We have performed at many functions for Calgary’s Ukrainian community, and have taken our show on the road across western Canada. Korinnya currently has over 20 members and is accompanied by a 4-piece orchestra. Our repertoire consists of traditional Ukrainian folk music, sung both a cappella and with traditional Ukrainian instruments. We have released two CDs of our music – a collection of folk songs, and a collection of traditional Ukrainian Christmas music. Korinnya is under the musical direction of Cathy Lebedovich.
